The EPL actions return after a short break to accommodate other domestic competitions. So with Liverpool set to host Chelsea in what promises to be an entertaining affair, who will come out on top? Read on to find out my take on the game and other EPL matches slated for MD 22.
Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal
This is going to be a very interesting match. I say so because matches between these two sides have been very close in recent time. For context, the previous two times Arsenal visited Nottingham Forest they lost. So, Arsenal fans should be worried about this one.
Nottingham Forest are also not in a bad form since Nuno Espirito Santo took over; so I think they will really be looking to get something here. I am going to bank on the game to end in a draw. Albeit, I will be tipping Arsenal as the favorites here if a winner eventually emerges.

Luton vs Brighton
Luton Town are unbeaten in their previous four domestic games, winning two and drawing the other two. They will be hoping to continue in that vein of form here. But they have a very technical and dangerous Brighton side to play here. I think Brighton will win if they play their best football here.

Fulham vs Everton
Everton are in a very poor form with just one win from their previous eight league matches. They will struggle here against Fulham who are not doing badly at the moment. I am going to go for Fulham to win slimly here.

Crystal Palace vs Sheffield United
Crystal Palace have utterly dominated this fixture in recent time and I am tipping them to once again win here. It's going to be a low-scoring game but the home side should still have too much for their visitors.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle
Aston Villa have been very inconsistent recently and I think they will struggle at home against high-scoring Newcastle team. I am going to tip Newcastle to win but the game can easily end in a high-scoring draw.

Manchester City vs Burnley
It's just a matter of how many goals will Manchester City win by here. I simply can't see Burnley posing any threat here.

Tottenham vs Brentford
I expect Tottenham to win here even though they have failed to win in the last four league games between them two. Brentford are in a very bad shape and I think they will struggle against Spurs on Wednesday.

Liverpool vs Chelsea
The last seven domestic competitions between these two sides have resulted in draws. So, there is a high propensity for this one to also end in a draw. However, I think Liverpool are slight favorites here owing to the fact that they have been dangerous at home this season.
Chelsea having endured a poor start to the season are starting to gel into a formidable side under Mauricio Potchettino. They will cause Liverpool loads of problem here but I think the Reds have got what it takes to claim all three points even in the absence of talisman Mohamed Salah.

West Ham vs Bournemouth
West Ham have actually been poor in recent time and I think they will struggle here. Bournemouth are not too special but they have been delivering the goods. I think Bournemouth will get something out of this game that is why I will be going for a draw here.

Wolves vs Manchester United
Manchester United are very inconsistent and you really can't predict what type of Manchester United will turn up on Thursday night. Wolves on their part are not doing so badly at the moment and I think they have got what it takes to snatch something from this clash. I am going to go for a draw here as I simply can't pick a winner.
