Godwin Odiko's EPL MD 13 Expert Predictions

Welcome to the first edition of my EPL match day predictions for the season. With Chelsea set to host Arsenal in what should be a blockbuster showdown on Sunday, what should punters expect from the match? Read on to find out my predictions.

Manchester City vs Leeds United 

Having lost their previous two games in all competitions, Manchester City will be hunting for only a win here. I really can't see Leeds standing in the way of a City win here so I am going to settle for a Manchester City win.

Sunderland vs Bournemouth 

This is going to be a very interesting watch going by how these two have fared so far this season. Sunderland have really overachieved so far this season and they will be looking to continue their impressive form on Saturday. Bournemouth have also been impressive so far and I think they will snatch at least a point here. My prediction here is both teams to score.

Brentford vs Burnley 

I really see a Brentford win here unless Burnley pull off an extraordinary performance or are aided by a red card early on in the game to a Brentford player. Otherwise I can't look past a Brentford win here.

Everton vs Newcastle 

Newcastle have struggled on the road so far this season and I am really afraid they might still fall short again here. Everton come into this game on the back of a big win against Manchester United at Old Trafford so they will be brewing in confidence ahead of this clash. I will advise punters to stake on Everton to win or draw.

Tottenham vs Fulham 

I think this is going to be a difficult clash for both teams. A match that can favor any of the two sides. But I am certain Tottenham will score at least one goal here. So my prediction is Tottenham over 0.5 goals.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United 

This is a must-win match for Ruben Amorim as his side haven't won a game in their previous three matches. But they have had a terrible record against Crystal Palace in recent years. The last time Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace was in 2023. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace who lost in the Conference League in midweek will be looking to get back to winning ways. I am going to advise punters to stake on Manchester United handicap 2.

West Ham vs Liverpool 

This is a must-win match for Arne Slot if he still wants to remain as Liverpool's head coach by Christmas. Jamie Carragher said he needs at least 7 points from the next three matches to save his job and I agree. I agree because the three matches are all winnable games. But West Ham under Nuno Espirito Santo are a revived side and shouldn't be disregarded. However, I will advise punters to stake on Liverpool to score at least one goal. That's Liverpool over 0.5 goals.

Aston Villa vs Wolves

I really can't see anything other than an Aston Villa win here. Wolves will be lucky to be in the game at halftime. So for me it's Aston Villa to win.

Nottingham Forest vs Brighton 

Forest have really turned a corner under Sean Dyche and thinks they will get at least a point here. Brighton will be a very difficult opponent for Forest but I think Sean Dyche and his men can do well to at least secure a point at home here. So I will advise punters to stake on Forest to win or draw.

Chelsea vs Arsenal 

This is obviously the standout game of the weekend and I see the game living up to the hype. Chelsea have struggled against Arsenal in recent years and I really don't see that changing on Sunday. Arsenal are definitely the best team in Europe at the moment and I think they will prove that here. However, recent meetings between the two sides have produced goals at both ends of the pitch that's why I am going to advise punters to stake on both teams to score here.
