Godwin Odiko's EPL MD 18 Predictions

 

I was able to call correctly the score lines of two games from last weekend's games. So what will this weekend's game look like? Who will come out on top in the epic game between Liverpool and Arsenal? Read on to find out...

Aston Villa vs Sheffield United

Aston Villa are in an incredible form at the moment. I predicted correctly that they will defeat Brentford 2-1 last weekend and they did. I see them winning this one also. They are playing at home against a very poor Sheffield United side and I think it's going to be a win for Unai Emery's side.

West Ham vs Manchester United

This is going to be an interesting match because it's really difficult to predict who will win here looking at the inconsistency of both teams. So I am just going to bank on this game to end in a draw albeit I am seeing Manchester United as the favorite here.

Tottenham vs Everton

This is also another very intriguing match as both sides are top sides and I really can't pick a favourite here. I think the side that utilizes opportunities here will come out on top.

Luton vs Newcastle

Luton need to start to win games if they desire to remain in the Premier League this season. They most times impress but are not able to hold on for a point or victory. I think Newcastle should be able to win here. Though, it's going to be able a difficult game for them.

Fulham vs Burnley

Fulham are experiencing some sort of purple patch at the moment and I think they should be able to get all maximum points against a struggling Burnley side.

Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth

Nottingham Forest's poor form has forced the hierarchy of the club to axe manager Steve Cooper to employ Nuno Espirito Santo. This is a match where Forest might impress as we normally see when teams get a new manager. But if Bournemouth's current form is anything worth noting down then I think they should be able to get something from this clash.

 Liverpool vs Arsenal

Liverpool will be looking to improve on their 5-1 win against West Ham in the EFL Cup in midweek. The Reds drew against Manchester United last time out in the Premier League and will be desperate for a win here to return to the top of the table. However, Arsenal will also be looking for all three points here or at least a point to remain on top of the table.

This is going to be a very interesting match for both fans and neutrals and I expect the game to produce goals at both ends of the pitch. However, I think Liverpool are the favorites here because of their good record at home. So I am going to tip Liverpool to win slimly here.

Wolves vs Chelsea

I think Chelsea should be able to win here. Wolves are no pushovers but their current form is too bad and I think Chelsea have got the superior quality to cause them more damages here.
