I was able to call correctly the match outcomes of six games out of nine last weekend. I am back with my expert tips for this weekend's round of games. So what should punters bet on? Read on to find out.
Chelsea vs Luton
I would be shocked if Chelsea haven't buried the game at the end of first half. I thought Chelsea were the better team last weekend against West Ham but were just profligate in front of goal. But I expect the Blues to make light work of this one.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Luton
Bournemouth vs Tottenham
Tottenham should win here. I say so because Tottenham have showed in their previous two games that they really mean business this season. Drawing at Brentford and defeating Manchester United is no mean feat. Bournemouth are no push overs but I don't see them surviving if Tottenham play the way they played against Brentford and Manchester United.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Bournemouth 0-2 Tottenham
Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest
I was really disappointed with Manchester United last weekend. They played as though they are not even yet ready for the season. The way Tottenham defeated them was way too easy. Manchester United's midfield was all over the place in that match. Making Yves Bissouma have a field day in the middle of the pack. I know Nottingham Forest are also struggling but if Erik Ten Hag's men play the way they have played in their previous two games they might be in for a shocker in this one. I am only going to go for a Manchester United win here because they are solid at home under Erik Ten Hag.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Nottingham Forest
Arsenal vs Fulham
This is not going to be an easy game for Arsenal but I expect them to win this one at their home turf. Arsenal haven't really been tremendous so far this season but they have found a way to always win games this season. Fulham on their part are a decent team that can cause any team problem in the league but they won't be able to survive at the Emirates on Saturday.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Fulham
Everton vs Wolves
Both teams have lost their opening two games and are rooted to the buttom of the table. I am really struggling to pick a winner here but I think Everton playing at home have got what it takes to either win or draw here.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Everton 2-1 Wolves
Brentford vs Crystal Palace
This game has ended in a draw in the previous four meetings between these two sides. But I think Brentford will nick a win here. Crystal Palace have not replaced the talismanic Zaha so I don't see them being able to match up to the quality of Brentford. So it's a Brentford win here for me.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Brentford 1-0 Crystal Palace
Brighton vs West Ham
Both teams are unbeaten so far with four points apiece. Brighton have been very exceptional so far blowing opponents away but I think they will struggle against West Ham. Because West Ham are coached by a very experienced manager in David Moyes who knows how to set his team in a way that will frustrate their opponents. However, this high-flying Brighton side are playing at home so with the backing of their fans they should be able to nick victory here.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Brighton 2-1 West Ham
Sheffield United vs Manchester City
I would be surprised if Sheffield United are still in this game at halftime. Manchester City would be looking to increase their goals scored in the league here by a large margin. So it's a resounding win for Manchester City here for me.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Sheffield United 0-4 Manchester City
Burnley vs Aston Villa
Burnley's game against Luton last weekend was postponed so I can't really asses them based on one game so far this season. But Aston Villa have been the better side in their head-to-head meetings. I am going to go with their Head-to-head record and bank on Aston Villa to win this one.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Burnley 1-2 Aston Villa
Newcastle vs Liverpool
This is definitely the star match of the weekend. Newcastle, having forced their way into the top four last season can now be seen as a Premier League heavyweight. And having lost their match to Manchester City last weekend, Eddie Howe's men will be looking to redeem themselves in front of their home fans. However, Liverpool haven't been so convincing so far despite being unbeaten so far. I am really struggling to separate these two sides so I will settle for a score draw.
Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Liverpool
