Five lessons learnt from Manutd's 1-0 win over Wolves

(1) Wolves were the better team

Gary O'Neil's team were obviously the better team on the night and were very unlucky to come out of the game with zero points. They had numerous chances to put the ball at the back of the net but were wasteful. They can however hold their heads high as they put out a gallant display.

(2) Onana was Manutd's Man of the match

In a game where it's difficult to pick out a Manchester United player for a decent performance, Andre Onana was United's only shinning light in a gloomy night. The shot stopper actually showed to all that he can actually save and not just good with his feet.

(3)  Garnacho not yet ripe to start games for Manutd

The Argentinian winger was very poor on the night and looked a shadow of himself throughout his time in the game. He was misplacing passes and couldn't take any one on. He was really awful. This night will be a night to forget in a hurry for the young winger.

(4) Rashford's best position is definitely not as a striker

Playing Rashford as a striker is to limit his creativity. The English forward was very poor playing as the point man. He is always at his best when on the flank and has space to run into. But playing with his back against the goal is a position he is actually not suited for at the moment.

(5) Manutd needs Greenwood's prolificness in front of goal

Moments before the game some women protested against the reintegration of Mason Greenwood into the team but if they were really fans of Manchester United, then they will know the team needs him badly at the moment. A Greenwood in this game would have caused Wolves lots of problem. The faster we reintegrate him into the team, the better for the team.
