Todd Boehly will destroy Chelsea if he doesn't go

The American has had to sack two managers at Chelsea so far since his takeover but will need to go if things need to get better at Chelsea.

Todd Boehly took over Chelsea for £4.25billion on the 31st of May 2022 but instead of it ushering Chelsea into better days it has since been the worst thing to happen to Chelsea since they finished 14th on the Premier League table in the 1993/1994 season.

The decisions he has had to make since he took over have all gone wrong. From firing the likes of Peter Cech,  Marina Granovskaia and Bruce Buck to sacking Thomas Tuchel and replacing with an average manager in Graham Potter.

When he took over Chelsea, he promised to do things differently from Roman Abramovich. And quite frankly he has done things completely differently from how Abramovich operated.

Abramovich won't sack Tuchel to replace with an average manager in Graham Potter or even allow Graham Potter to last for the duration he lasted as Chelsea's boss under Boehly. Boehly's appointment of Frank Lampard as replacement for the sacked Graham Potter really showed he is a completely different character from the very successful Abramovich.

Chelsea have brought in 17 players under Todd Boehly for a whooping sum of $600million, yet they are only nine points above relegation zone with five games left to play. Shows that the American businessman has failed so far in his dealings.

In summary, Todd Boehly doesn't have the football knowledge to run a club as big as Chelsea and the further he remains as Chelsea's owner the worse things will get for Chelsea.

  1. I think a managerial change will do the magic, they already have great players but lack a tactical manager, lampard is just a flash in the pan, because you are a club legend does not translate to being a great manager

    1. Thanks for your response Chidi. Aside getting a tactical manager I think they need to buy a quality finisher in the window. What they presently lack is a quality goalscorer. But the problem is that Todd Boehly has shown that he is not astute with spending that's why he still needs to go
