Here are my Match Week Four (4) Predictions:
MANCHESTER UNITED Vs MANCHESTER CITY
This one no doubt is the biggest of the week across Europe. The world is expected to stand still to see this great Manchester rivals lock horns at Oldtrafford. Another interesting rivalry expected in this match is the one between both coaches - Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola - who have been at each others Achilles Heels from their time in La Liga with Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively. The rivalry is expected to extend to both team's players as they look to show superiority and class. This one would be difficult to predict, but I am going for a Manutd win - considering the fact that City would be without their talisman up front Sergio Aguero. To beat this Manutd defense under Jose Mourinho, something special is required.
MY PREDICTION: Manutd 2-1 Man City
ARSENAL Vs SOUTHAMPTON
The gunners enjoyed a resounding 3-1 victory at Watford last weekend and have strengthened their squad with the transfer deadline inclusion of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez from Valencia and Deprtivo La Coruna respectively. They would be looking to continue from where they stopped last time at Watford with a win at the Emirates. Southampton having been too convincing under new manager Claude Puel - with 2 draws and a loss.
MY PREDICTION: Arsenal 3-0 Southampton
BOURNEMOUTH Vs WEST BROM
Eddie Howe's side would be looking to win this one after earning a draw away from home at Crystal Palace in match week four. But, they face a rigid side in West brom, who also ended last match week with a draw at home to Middlesbrough. This one seems difficult to predict, I would go with a draw.
MY PREDICTION: Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom
BURNLEY Vs HULL CITY
Both side suffered defeat last time out and would be looking to improve on that this weekend. Hull city showed great character to subject Manutd to a last minute winner after frustrating the Reds. The team's great organization at the back and their counter attacking style might prove too difficult for Burnley to match.
MY PREDICTION: Burnley 0-1 Hull City
MIDDLESBROUGH Vs CRYSTAL PALACE
Still yet to loose a match this season in the league - with 2 draws and a win, Aiktor Karanka's side are up to prove a point to doubters this season. Crystal Palace have not impressed this season but ended the summer transfer with some good dealings. Alan Pardew's side would require a little time to blend after some interesting deadline recruits.
MY PREDICTION: Middlesbrough 1-1 Crystal Palace
STOKE CITY Vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS
The Bet365 stadium formerly known as the Britannia stadium is always a difficult ground to play for away teams. But, Spurs are expected to atleast pick a point from the ground, going by the recent form of both teams. So I would be going for a Spurs win. Though, it might also end in stalement.
MY PREDICTION: Stoke 1-2 Spurs
WEST HAM Vs WATFORD
The Hammers would be looking to continue on their 100% winning start at new Olympic stadium against Watford. Though Watford are also a very formidable side and are capable of springing up surprises even away from home, I still see West Ham winning this one.
MY PREDICTION: West Ham 2-1 Watford
LIVERPOOL Vs LEICESTER CITY
This one should be second to the Manchester derby in matches to look out for in match week 4. Liverpool would be playing for the first time this season in front of their home fans after 3 consecutive away matches due to constructions undertaking at Anfield to increase the stands. Jurgen Klopp's men would seek to start the season at home with a win but against league title holders Leicester, it might be too difficult to achieve. But I would be going for a very slim Liverpool win here nevertheless.
MY PREDICTION: Liverpool 2-1 Leicester City
SWANSEA Vs CHELSEA
Chelsea have enjoyed 100% start to their season under new boss Antonio Conte and should continue in that form against Swansea at the Liberty stadium. Swansea might prove difficult for the 'Blues' but I expect Chelsea to leave Wales with all three points.
MY PREDICTION: Swansea 1-2 Chelsea
SUNDERLAND Vs EVERTON
David Moyes would be up against his former side Everton, and should be giving it his all. But, Everton have been very solid and impressive under new manager Ronald Koeman. This would be a very difficult match for both teams. Hence, I would go for a draw.
MY PREDICTION: Sunderland 1-1 Everton
