MY MATCH WEEK 6 PREDICTIONS

MANCHESTER UNITED VS LEICESTER CITY

The Red Devils would be focused on victory after suffering two consecutive league defeats to Man City and Watford. Jose Mourinho and his wards would be looking to build on their league cup win at Northampton and also their community shield triumph against Leicester when they battle 'The Foxes' at Old Trafford on Saturday. Leicester City would definitely come into the match with an intention to win, but I fancy a Manutd win here.

MY PREDICTION: Manutd 1-0 Leicester City

BOURNEMOUTH VS EVERTON

Bournemouth's display at Ethihad last weekend was described as 'the best' Manchester City have witnessed this season by Pep Guardiola - despite 'The Cherries' 4-0 defeat to City. They would be looking to display that at home to Everton who are still unbeaten in the league this weekend. But, the attacking prowess of Everton this season in the league - which have seen the team scored 10 goals would be too much for Eddie Howe's side to handle.

MY PREDICTION: Bournemouth 1-2 Everton

LIVERPOOL VS HULL CITY

The Reds have been scoring freely in their recent outings this season. But, its their defense that is still not compact enough to keep a clean sheet in the league this season. Playing at home to Hull, I expect Liverpool to extend their winning streak and more importantly, I see their defense recording a clean slate for the first time this season.

MY PREDICTION: Liverpool 2-0 Hull City

MIDDLESBROUGH VS TOTTENHAM

Aiktor Karanka and his wards are still being taught some lessons about life in the top division - with just one win out of five. I don't see them getting any better against Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs this weekend.

MY PREDICTION: Middlesbrough 1-2 Spurs

STOKE CITY VS WEST BROM

The 'Potters' have suffered four league losses in a row, the latest being a 4-1 thumping at the hands of Crystal Palace last weekend. This weekend, they face a solid Tony Pulis's side, which would be aiming to prove their last weekend's win over West Ham wasn't a fluke. I expect the game to be fiercely contested and I see it ending in stalement.

MY PREDICTION: Stoke City 1-1 West Brom

SUNDERLAND VS CRYSTAL PALACE

Fresh from their triumph in the league cup at Queen Park Rangers, David Moyes and his wards will be looking to build on that and get something positive out of this encounter. But, Crystal Palace would prove a tough nut to crack after impressing recently in the league.

MY PREDICTION: Sunderland 1-1 Crystal Palace

SWANSEA VS MANCHESTER CITY

This fixture would come too soon for the Welsh side, after suffering defeat to Pep Guardiola's side in the league cup 2 days ago. Man City fielded what can be termed 'a weak eleven' and would be throwing their top stars into this one; including a return for their 'talisman' Sergio Aguero - after completing his 3 game suspension. I expect Man City to continue their 100 per cent winning start to the season with a win again in Wales.

MY PREDICTION: Swansea 0-2 Man City

ARSENAL VS CHELSEA

Arsenal head into this fixture brewing with lots of confidence after their impressive form in the league. But, they face a familiar foe in Chelsea, who did the double over the gunners last season and have not lost to Arsenal at Emirates since 2011. I expect Arsene Wenger to get the better of Antonio Conte - who is still struggling to come to terms with his preferred eleven.

MY PREDICTION: Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea

WEST HAM VS SOUTHAMPTON

The Hammers have been unimpressive with their start to the season; with just one win so far after 5 games, loosing the other 4 matches. They face a Southampton side who haven't been impressive also but are better off than their match week 6 opponent. I expect West Ham to win this one though, building on their league cup win over Accrington Stanley in mid week.

MY PREDICTION: West Ham 2-1 Southampton

BURNLEY VS WATFORD

Burnley got a draw from their last league game at home to Hull City and suffered loss to Leicester City last weekend. While, their opponent Watford have been enjoying back to back wins in the league and are well poised to continue in that form this weekend at Burnley. I expect Watford to win this one over 'struggling' Burnley.

MY PREDICTION: Burnley 1-2 Watford
