Five Key Points From Arsenal Win Over Hull City

1. ALEX IWOBI WILL BECOME AN ARSENAL GREAT
Arsenal might have had a roller-coaster win over Hull City but Alex Iwobi’s performance in particular
was one of note. The 20-year-old continues
to show maturity above his years and the
direct running coupled with his third
assist in two league games provided
another example of just how highly-rated
the Nigerian international is.
The only thing left for this young sensation is consistency, with this he might just do an Hector Bellerin esque who had his senior team breakthrough at a tender age.
Iwobi! Doing Nigeria Proud!

2. WENGER RELUCTANT TO USE NEW SIGNINGS
There was some consternation among
Arsenal's supporters at the sight of Granit
Xhaka on the substitutes' bench again.
Wenger has said he feels the Swiss
midfielder needs more time to settle into
English football, but he looked comfortable
enough against Watford last month and his
goal here was absolutely breathtaking.
He was not the only new signing left to
watch from the sidelines. Lucas Perez, who
endured a joyless debut against Southampton
last week, was also left to kick his heels on
the bench. Both men eventually joined the
fray, Xhaka replacing Cazorla for fear that
the Spaniard would be sent off, and Perez
arriving late on for Walcott.
It's interesting though; having waited all that
time to spend some serious money, Wenger
seems curiously reluctant to play with his
new toys.

3. ARSENAL SHOWED SIGNED OF TITLE CONTENDERS.
You might say it still early days but they showed in
spells why they will be title challengers
this season. The attack-minded Gunners
line-up dismantled Mike Phelan’s plucky
Hull side and continued their impressive
25 game unbeaten run against promoted
opposition.
There could have been a few more on the
scoresheet if Mesut Ozil put away a gilt-
edged opportunity which he struck over
the bar or Alexis Sanchez converted his
first half penalty, but it didn’t matter in
the end as Wenger’s men brought back
three points to north London with relative
ease.

4. HULL CITY CARETAKET MANAGER, MIKE PHELAN MUST STAY
Beaten, but not broken. There were plenty
more reasons here why Hull City's owners
should rush to retain caretaker manager
Mike Phelan. His team started brightly,
passing the ball about with the air of men
who really weren't about to be intimidated
by the likes of Arsenal. Sam Clucas
dexterously broke down Arsenal attacks,
reaffirming his case to be crowned this
year's N'Golo Kante. He was magnificent
throughout.
Hull made and wasted chances in the first
half, but were unlikely to recover once
Livermore was dismissed. Nevertheless, they
refused to stop trying and there were some
nervous moments for Arsenal in the second
half. Phelan has cultivated a team with great
spirit here. If Hull don't want him, there are
plenty of teams out there who will.

5. ALEXIS SANCHEZ ISN'T A NO 9.
Just as Arsene Wenger did with Thierry Henry-converting him from a winger to a striker- he is about doing so for Sanchez but it seems it will never work.
He might have gotten a brace(if not a hattrick, albeit a missed penalty) against Hull and scored against PSG in the UCL in mid week but the truth is Sanchez doesn't really have that imposing figure (height) to trouble defenders, although he has the pace to reach threaded passes from Cazorla,Ozil et al but He still do not have that extra touch of being a striker as at now.
He might get used to that position but in a league of the EPL, there is no time for experimenting.
