1. GRANIT XHAKA!!!!!!
I actually needed to use an exclamation mark just after Granit Xhaka's name, this explains how influential he was against Watford.
Playing in the deep role of shielding the defense, he did his work so spot on and worthy of note was his pass accuracy from a deep role. His through balls for Sanchez was eye catching. He has got a Mesut Ozil passing esque. He looks like a new Viera for Arsenal.
His partnership with Santi Carzola will be great to see in the season run in.
2. MUSTAFI SIGNING REALLY NEEDED.
Thankfully, Arsene Wenger announced the signing of Shkodran Mustafi in his post match press conference. This is what Arsenal actually needs at the moment.
Much would actually be said about a compact Arsenal defensive display but with another top sides they would be punished given that the defence looks vulnerable to attacks as Koscienly seems to be the only one doing all the job in the centre back, take nothing away from a yet superb performance from Holdings but you cant compare his experience to that of Koscienly.
Mustafi would bring his wealth of experience to the defence and Arsenal fans can look forward to a a great centre back pairing.
3. ARSENAL FINALLY GETTING BACK TO GEAR
It was a game to forget against Liverpool. Leicester city was fairly better but finally against Watford, we saw the real Arsenal display especially in the first half were the team scored 3 goals to put the game out of the host reach.
We saw the tiki taka display, the dribbles, the passes and the real fluidity from Arsene Wenger.
Arsenal fans will however hope this wont be just a flash because Arsenal can still go back to the Arsenal of old. With Mustafi and lucas Perez coming in,they can dream!
4. WALTER MAZARRI NEEDS TIME
Watford has just one point from 3 games and Mazarri seems to have started feeling the heat.
His team looked kind of organized and compact against Chelsea bit fell to two late goal from Antonio Conte's men but against Arsenal they were torn apart.
For the players and new signings, it's like they are yet to understand Mazarri philosophy. Fans will be hoping that in due time they will gel soon.
5. PETR CECH PROVES HIS WORTH YET AGAIN.
He kept 15 clean sheet last season and this season again he has started to prove his worth.
Against Watford he had a magnificent display controlling his box and aerial balls, top of his performance was a decisive double save in the second half which kept score at 3-1. He also denied Koscienly scoring an own goal with a superb reflex save in the first half.
If Arsenal are to get any silverware this season, expect Petr Cech to be the back bone.
MykThePundit did this.
