ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP MATCH DAY 9
PREVIEW
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V LIVERPOOL
This match promises to be full of
entertainment, with both sides securing an away draw last time out and both
team managers are going to set their team all out for attack. This match is set to
be superb. Expect Jurgen Klopp to want to prove a point on his debut match in
the EPL, but spurs will be aware of this also.
CHELSEA V ASTON VILLA
Mourinho side are going through a
tough time now and their last match out which happens to be at home ended as a
defeat. But, I expect Mourinho to be able to recover and claim the maximum
point against Aston Villa.
MY PREDICTION : CHELSEA 2-0 ASTON
VILLA
CRYSTAL PALACE V WEST HAM UTD
This one is also a top clash as both
sides are surprisingly among the top 5 presently. Crystal palace will win this
one marginally but expect a big fight from the big team killers so far west ham
utd.
MY PREDICTION : CRYSTAL PALACE 2-1
WEST HAM UTD
EVERTON V MANUTD
Last time out in the EPL for the
toffees was a fiercely contested derby against their eternal rival Liverpool
which ended in a one all draw. Louis Van Gaal’s side has always find this
Goodison park difficult to play in for the last two seasons. But I expect
manutd to want to change that and show how strong they are in contesting for
the title, and also look to bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal. This one
is going to be a big test to their title ambition, so I will be going for a
draw for this one.
MY PREDICTION : EVERTON 2-2 MANUTD
MAN CITY V BOURNMOUTH
Man city will still be basking in the
euphoria of their 6-1 walloping of Newcastle last time out at Ethihad. But this
time around they will be without 5- goals hero Sergio Aguero and midfield
dictator David Silva. Not with standing they are still going to see off
Bournmouth who could only secure a draw at home to Watford last time out.
MY PREDICTION : MAN CITY 3-0
BOURNMOUTH
SOUTHAMPTON V LEICESTER CITY
Both sides secured an impressive away
victory last time out against Chelsea and Norwich city respectively. Expect
this match to be packed with loads of entertainment and one silly error might
just ruin the day for any of the sides.
MY PREDICTION : SOUTHAMPTON 1-1
LEICESTER CITY
WEST BROM V SUNDERLAND
Both sides still trying to get their
foot on the league this season, and sunderland are still hanging around the
relegation zone. But with Sam Allardyce now in charge and known for his direct
style of play, expect them to get something out of this clash.
MY PREDICTION : WEST BROM 1-1 SUNDERLAND
WATFORD V ARSENAL
Watford are placed 12 th on the log currently and will be up against
high flying Arsenal who were fantastic last time out against Manutd. I expect
Arsenal to steal this one against Watford.
MY PREDICTION : WATFORD 0-1 ARSENAL
NEWCASTLE UTD V NORWICH CITY
Newcastle are bottom of the table and
suffered a 6-1 defeat away at Man city last time out. While Norwich on their
own case aren’t doing bad as they currently occupy the 13 th position on the
log, but also suffered a defeat at home to Leicester city in their last fixture
before the international break. I expect this match to end as a draw.
MY PREDICTION : NEWCASTLE UTD 0-0
NORWICH CITY
SWANSEA CITY V STOKE CITY
Though stoke got an away win last
time out at Villa park, they are not going to experience such a friendly
situation at the liberty stadium. Swansea should win this one but is going to
be tough also.
MY PREDICTION : SWANSEA CITY 2-1
STOKE CITY
Tottenham 1 vs Liverpool 1, Chelsea 1 vs Aston Villa 2, Crystal palace 2 vs WestHam 1, Everton 1 vs Man Utd 1, Man city 2 vs BourneMouth 0, Southampton 2 vs Leicester city 2, Westbrom 2 vs Sunderland 2, Watford 0 vs Arsenal 2, Newcastle 2 vs Norwich 2, Swansea 2 vs Stoke 1 (08065995285)
