Godwin Odiko's Expert EPL MD 18 Predictions

Last match day was full of many shocking results but I still managed to call a few match outcomes correctly (especially the straight draw I predicted in the West Ham vs Brighton game). So, who will come out on top on Boxing Day round of matches? Read on to find out...

Manchester City vs Everton

Pep Guardiola and his men needs to find a way to win this game. They can't afford to drop points here again if they still have an eye for the title. Meanwhile, Everton will come into this match with some form of confidence having played the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in their previous two games and taken points from them. However, I think Manchester City will kick start what should be a good run of form with this match as they just can't afford to drop points here.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Manchester City to win

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Everton

Chelsea vs Fulham

Fulham have drawn their previous three league games and will be looking to take points off Chelsea in this one. However, I think Chelsea will be disappointed they failed to win last time out against Everton and give their all here to secure maximum points.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Chelsea to win

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Fulham

Forest vs Tottenham

Forest are in a very good form and I think they should be able to get something from this one at home against a very inconsistent Tottenham side.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Forest to win or draw

Godwin  Odiko's match outcome prediction: Forest 2-1 Tottenham

Newcastle vs Aston Villa

Both teams are in form at the moment so I think I will settle for a score draw as I am struggling to separate the two sides.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Straight draw

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Newcastle 2-2 Aston Villa

Southampton vs West Ham

Southampton will go into this match with a new manager in Ivan Juric who is known for his expertise in defensive football. He will try to find a solution to Southampton's leaking defense. I think Southampton playing at home under a new manager should be able to get something out of this clash.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Southampton to win or draw

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Southampton 2-1 West Ham

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace

The last two meetings between these two have been victories for Bournemouth. And the the Cherries on a good form, I see them getting something out of this match.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Bournemouth to win or draw

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Bournemouth 1-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves vs Manchester United

Ruben Amorim needs to find a way to get his men to win this if they still want to finish in the top four this season. The Red Devils despite their poor form so far this season are only nine points from Champions League spot. So, if they can win this one they can kick start a good run of form and still finish in the top four at the end of the season. I am going to go for a Manchester United win here.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Manchester United to win

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Wolves 1-3 Manchester United

Liverpool vs Leicester

The Reds are currently unplayable and unbeatable and I don't think Leicester has got what it takes to cause an upset at Anfield in this one. So, I am going for a comfortable Liverpool win.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Liverpool to win

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Leicester

Brighton vs Brentford

Both teams are currently on a poor run of form. I really can't call a winner here. I think this one would end in a draw.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Straight draw

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Brighton 1-1 Brentford

Arsenal vs Ipswich

Arsenal will try to build on their 5-1 rumping of Crystal Palace last time out. If the Gunners still want to push for the title this season, then, I think they should be winning this one. I know Saka is injured at the moment, but, without Saka, Mikel Arteta'a side should be able to win a side like Ipswich on their home ground.

Godwin Odiko's match outcome prediction: Arsenal to win

Godwin Odiko's correct score prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Ipswich
