EPL Final Day Expert Predictions

 

The English Premier League will come to close on Sunday as all teams in the league will be involved in matches at the same time. Find out my expert takes on which teams will come out on top on Sunday in what promises to be an exciting day of football.

Manchester City vs West Ham

There is no better way for Pep Guardiola's City to win the league than facing a toothless and out-of-form West Ham team. David Moyes said it will be difficult to stop Manchester City's under-14 team when asked if his team can stop Manchester City from winning the league. While his comment might look somehow exaggerating, he is really not far from the truth. 

I think West Ham will be lucky to still be in the game at halftime. I feel sorry for those Arsenal fans hoping on West Ham to do them a favour on Sunday.

Brighton vs Manchester United

Manchester United have not defeated Brighton in the league since February of 2022. For context, the Red Devils have lost all four league games against Brighton in the league since then. However, Brighton are not in the best of forms at the moment. And with Manchester United's injured players returning, Erik Ten Hag's men stand a chance of getting something from the clash on Sunday. I am going to go for Manchester United to win or draw.

Liverpool vs Wolves

All what the Liverpool players will be looking for in this game is the win to ensure a befitting send off game for legendary boss Jurgen Klopp. I don't see Wolves standing in the way of a comfortable win for Jurgen Klopp's men here.

Arsenal vs Everton

Arsenal will be looking to do their part while hoping for a favour from city rivals West Ham in this game on Sunday. However, I don't expect Everton to make things easy for Arsenal on Sunday. Everton are in form at moment, having won four out of their previous five league games. The reverse fixture ended 1-0 in favour of Arsenal and I think the result on Sunday won't be too different. So I am going for a slim Arsenal victory.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth

The Blues have really peaked in form towards the end of the season as they have gone on to win all of their previous four league matches. They will be looking to end the season on a high by winning and hoping to make it into the Europa League spot. Bournemouth who were flying after the arrival of new manager Andoni Iraola have suddenly gone cold. I can't see any other result other than a Chelsea win here at Stamford Bridge.

Sheffield United vs Tottenham

Tottenham will be looking to book a place in next season's Europa League competition with a win here on Sunday. Sheffield United are relegated already so they only have pride to play for. They will try to make life difficult for Spurs but I see Ange Postecoglou's men triumphing.

Brentford vs Newcastle

Newcastle have won all previous four meetings between these two sides and they will be looking to win here to try to qualify for Europa Conference League next season. However, I think Brentford will look to avoid defeat here as a good way to end the season in front of their home fans. I really can't pick a winner here so I am settling for a draw.

Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa

Aston Villa have already qualified for the Champions League so they will only be playing for pride here. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are really in a good form and will be looking to end the campaign on a winning note on Sunday. I am going to advise punters to stake on Crystal Palace to win or draw here.

Luton vs Fulham

Luton who are already relegated have only pride to play for here on Sunday. Fulham are struggling at the moment in the league so I see them conceding here. I will go for Luton to win or draw this one.

Burnley vs Nottingham Forest

Burnley will try to get something from this game to give their fans something to cheer about as their last game in the Premier League having been relegated. Nottingham Forest who survived relegation by the skin of the teeth will also be looking to get something from this clash. The reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 draw and I am also tipping this one to end in a draw on Sunday.
