YOU JUST RETURNED FROM THE SUPER EAGLES CAMP, HOW WAS THE EXPERIENCE LIKE BEING IN THE SUPER EAGLES?
PRINCE : Yeah, it’s a good one for me. I really thank God for the opportunity given to me by my coach Oliseh. I will say my going to Super Eagles really helped step up my game because I have learnt more from my stay there. It helped improve my style of play am really happy to be among the Super Eagles.

PRINCE : Thanks.
YOU WEREN’T SELECTED TO PLAY AGAINST THE TANZANIANS, BUT YOU WERE ON THE BENCH. WHAT WAS RUNNING THROUGH YOUR MIND ON THE BENCH?
PRINCE : Yeah, all the players coach Oliseh picked to Tanzanian were all ready to play for the country, so once you are called to start, you give all your best. So we really tried our best because that was the first International match we are playing together as a team under the new coach. And by God’s grace we will do more with our coaching crew.
OK, AT HALF TIME IT WAS GOALESS WITH THE TANZANIANS PILING THE PRESSURE ON THE EAGLES, WHAT WAS OLISEH’S HALF TIME PELP TALK LIKE AND HIS REACTIONS?
PRINCE ; Nothing much, he just told the team that you guys go out and do more for your country and yourself, And every one came out to play. He always say guys you have to play for the Super Eagles with all your heart and with joy because we are wearing the country jersey. So we have got no excuse not to deliver for our lovely country.
OK, AGAINST NIGER REPUBLIC IN PORT HARCOURT YOU FINALLY GOT THE CHANCE TO MAKE YOUR OFFICIAL DEBUT FOR YOUR COUNTRY, WERE YOU TENSED WHEN YOU WERE TOLD TO COME IN AS A SUBSTITUTE IN THE 46TH MINUTES?
PRINCE : Hmmmm, I will say my debut was a good start for me, because the coach told me ; Boy you can do this, just go and play to instructions given to you and do not be carried away with the fans, and I was very happy to go into the pitch to give my best.

PRINCE ; Thanks.

PRINCE : Am never satisfied after all my training, because I know I can do more. If Ronaldo the world’s best player can never be satisfied with his performance and always look to improve every day, then I need to put in more hard work in my game, so I wasn’t satisfied.
OK, THE CHAN PLAY OFFS AGAINST BURKINA FASO IS FOR NEXT MONTH, WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS GOING INTO THE PLAY OFFS?
PRINCE ; That I cannot say for now, only the coach knows the players that are going. I will just have to keep working hard, for me to be called to play the game.
OK, PRINCE WHO WAS YOUR BEST PLAYER IN THE CAMP AND YOUR CLOSEST FRIEND?
PRINCE ; Musa.
COOL, YOU GUYS GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER THERE IN THE CAMP OR HAVE BEEN FRIENDS BEFORE ?
PRINCE : We met each other at the camp. All players in the camp are very friendly with each other, we all play together, joke and laugh with each other. And the coaching crew too, we are all family.
WHO IS THE FUNNIEST PLAYER IN CAMP ?
PRINCE : LOL, I can’t pick one person because camp is fun seriously, and the same time every player know what he came for, so everyone is just focused and ready for the game.
OK PRINCE LETS NOW FOCUS ON YOUR CLUB SUNSHINE STARS. SUNSHINE STARS ARE 3RD ON THE LOG WITH 47 POINTS, 5 POINTS BEHIND LEADERS ENYIMBA. HOW OPTIMISTIC ARE YOU ABOUT WINNING THE LEAGUE?
PRINCE : Yes, the league is still very much open, we are still in the race , till it ends. I know by God’s grace and with hard work from me and my team mates and the coaching crew we will bounce back to our position at the top. We are champions, that is what we are. So we are not given up the league to anyone.
NICE TO KNOW YOU STILL VERY OPTIMISTIC PRINCE. HOW MANY GOALS TARGET DID YOU SET FOR YOURSELF BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON?
PRINCE: Yeah, I targeted 20 goals, and I really want to get more assists than goals, because I want to give more to my strikers to score. I also targeted 28 assists, because I want to assist in every game. But due to some of my game ban and my national duties cause am some times in camp I could not meet up but I know by the grace of God and with hard work I can still do it.
OK, VERY GOOD PRINCE. HOW MANY GOALS AND ASSIST HAVE YOU NOW?
PRINCE : I do not know if they get the right amount back, I have scored 10 goals but some people are saying its 9, But at the end we will all count it together. But I have 15 assists.
OK, WOULD CONTACT THE LEAGUE MANAGEMENT BOARD TO SEE IF IT CAN BE CORRECTED.
PRINCE : OK.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OPPOSITION DEFENDERS FEAR MOST ABOUT YOU?
PRINCE : Hmmm, you know defenders don’t like pace, so I think they do not like my speed. Its just better they fall me or they let me go.
LOL, COOL.
PRINCE : Yeah.
WHO IS THE TOUGHEST DEFENDER YOU HAVE COME AGAINST IN THE LEAGUE?
PRINCE : I do not think I have met any, Nigerian defender are very good though.
PRINCE YOU MEAN NO DEFENDER CAN STAND YOUR PACE OR TRICKERY?
PRINCE : I do not think so, not that they are not good but am always working hard so they can’t stand me.
THAT’S VERY GOOD. WHAT ABOUT IN THE CAMP, WHO WAS GIVEN YOU TOUGH TIME AMONG THE SUPER EAGLES DEFENDERS IN TRAINING?
PRINCE : We are not playing games, we always do our coach program.

PRINCE : It’s a normal game for me and my team mates tomorrow, we are ready. I see all games as final to me. I want to win all finals I played by God’s grace. I do not want to loose know matter what it takes. When I lost games I do not go out from my room, won’t take calls and I go straight to my bed and sleep and think of how the next game will be better than the last.

PRINCE : Hmmmm good question. I started from Sapele, my grass root club was shooting stars football club and I was picked to benin by Austin Eguavoen to his academy. From there I signed for Bendel Insurance to Hearland. It was from Heartland I joined Sunshine Stars. Austin Eguavoen really played so many roles in my career. He is like a father to me and always there for me before I met my manager who always believes am the best in the world. And so many others lovely coaches like coach mattew my youth coach, Christopher, shola, toni, and many others. I will not forget Manu Garba and my father Oliseh.
THOMAS GOSHI ASKED TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE FROM. “ARE YOU GHANIAN?”
PRINCE : Am Nigerian, am from uhrogbo. I was born and brought up in Sapele delta state. My father is from Alajah and my mum is aganokpe.

PRINCE : I will say we didn’t lose form, but we want to take our form at home to away matches. We are short of five regular players in our last home game that we drew. But thank God we are all back now, and our team shape is back. I know with the effort of my team mate we are going back to the top of the league.
